Iran–Afghanistan Business Opportunities Exhibition Hosts a Joint Meeting Between Afghan Entrepreneurs and Birjand University Representatives

A joint meeting was held between selected Afghan business representatives and delegates from Birjand University on the sidelines of the Iran–Afghanistan Business Opportunities Exhibition. According to the Office of Public Relations and Information at Birjand University, the event was organized by the Office of International Scientific Cooperation to explore avenues of collaboration between the university and Afghan enterprises. During the meeting, the university representatives highlighted Birjand University’s academic, research, and innovation capacities. The participants also discussed potential areas of cooperation, including support for Afghan students, short-term training programs for Afghan entrepreneurs (both in-person and online), and collaborations with start-ups based in the university’s incubator center in fields such as agriculture, medicinal plants, content production, and website design.
