According to the Public Relations and Information Center of Birjand University, Stanford University, in collaboration with Elsevier, has released its annual list of the world’s top 2% of scientists for the year 2025.

A Prestigious Recognition for Birjand’s Academic Community In this ranking, Dr. Hossein Barani, faculty member of the Faculty of Arts, and Dr. Mohammad Mesinayi, faculty member of the Faculty of Engineering, were recognized among the top 2% of scientists globally for their outstanding research contributions.

The 2025 report is based on citation data from 2024, reflecting the most recent scholarly impact and the researchers’ ability to generate and disseminate new knowledge.
