About
The main responsibilities of Vice President for Research and Technology Affairs include:
- Handling all the affairs related to research and technology
- Planning for research and technology affairs and monitoring the university’s website, internet and intranet network
- Evaluating research activities and performance of the university
- Contacting national and international institutes for collaboration in research affairs and scientific service exchange
- Cooperating with Office of the President, Public Relations Office, and Office of International Scientific Collaboration in order to offer scientific services, hold seminars and conferences, and execute all the affairs related to research and service contracts between the university and other institutes
- Monitoring all the affairs related to the Central Library, research centers, and journals of the university
- Planning for faculty members’ taking national and international sabbaticals based on approved laws and regulations
